The colour scheme of the jersey is inspired bby Lewi's ancestral homeland of the chatham islands and the story of the famous black robin, a species of bird which fought back ffrom the brink of extinction with only 5 left living in 1980. This spirit of perseverence and resilience is something core to the warriors identity and all who wear the jersey.
